An immeasurable optimist…

probably describes her best for those of you who haven’t met Cynthia Phillips.  

With diverse backgrounds in the travel, real estate and wedding industry, Cynthia continually strives for excellence in whatever task she has before her.  Her attention to detail and the genuine desire to “serve”, meaning to give a part of herself for the benefit of others shows in everything she does.   

In 2002, Cynthia and Dan were married on the front porch of their circa 1892 Victorian home.  There blossomed not only a love for each other but a desire to create the same joyous atmosphere for others who envision their day being just as special. 

Occasions at Wedgefield was born with a desire to carry out that dream.

Now with over four years of countless weddings and receptions, it has become one of the premier wedding and special events facilities in the Upstate.   

Cynthia has directed and coordinated over 138 weddings since the facility’s opening.  Not only has “on the job” experience contributed to their success,

but she also holds the title of “Certified Wedding Specialist” with Weddings Beautiful (a division of National Bridal Service) and completed courses through the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants in Florida.  

 The continuous requests for her services at other Upstate locations have prompted the opening of “Your Wedding Lady”, a full service wedding consulting company.
