Many times I have heard brides say that, looking back, they wished they had hired someone to take care of all the little unexpected things so they could have fully enjoyed their day.  Wedding Consultants are a new trend and the definite need for their services is becoming a realization.  Wedding consultants plan many weddings....brides and grooms plan only one wedding...so why would you leave the most important day of your life up to chance?  You need an experienced professional to insure your day is as near perfect as it can be!

The biggest misconception is that a Wedding Consultant is just an added expense.  Absolutely not!  A Wedding Consultant will be able to put you in contact with the quality wedding vendors that are compatible with your budget.  Often because you are working with a consultant, many vendors will offer you a discount on their services.  These discounts will in turn offset part, if not all, of the Consultant's fee.  Through her experience, a consultant is also able to help you make educated decisions that will keep you from making costly mistakes.

Another huge advantage of having a Wedding Consultant is that you have someone in charge of EVERYTHING!  They are your "Go To" person for the vendors as well as your guests and wedding party.  From directing the rehearsal and ceremony to helping the photographer with gathering everyone for pictures, to insuring the buffet is ready, the DJ is set, the favors are in place, everyone has their flowers, etc....you get the picture.  Who will handle this for you if you did not have a Consultant? You can have the wedding of your dreams without worries because your Wedding Consultant has worked with you on all the details, knows your desires, and can carry out your wishes without hesitation.

If you have your ceremony and reception at the same location, you can easily reduce your floral budget by letting flowers play "double duty".  What do I mean by this?

Your arrangements for the ceremony can be transported from the ceremony site to the reception site after the pictures to be used on the food tables. (This only works if the buffets are not opened until the Bride, Groom and Bridal Party have joined the reception.)

The bridesmaids' bouquets can be arranged around the cake on the cake table while the introductions are being done.

Your bridal bouquet can be placed on the Sweetheart Table during your First Dance as your centerpiece.

Your throwaway bouquet can be the decor for the guest book table while guests are signing in.

These are just a few ideas that can help cut costs and help you stay within your budget.
